omg i know! shirley is my favorite character! her death was epically sad! i cry every time is ee it and omg teh english version was more sad! it was heartbreaking how desperate lulu was and that shirley was just acting calm knowing that she would be reborn and fall in love with him omg epic sad! and then the last episode! i feell soooo bad for poor poor nunally!

Yep... I definitely wanted somebody to maul Rolo after he killed Shirley!

Lelouch is definitely alive... When C.C. first appears to Lelouch after their contract was made, she was right in the middle of folding a pink crane while telling Nunally about the promise Lelouch had made to her about their future together… this is when Lelouch dropped the cup so he could whisk her away… she never got to finish folding it. In the final frame of the series we see the finished pink crane… symbolizing that her wish for them to be together came true. She even said they were together... I don't think she was talking to herself, and she definitely would not have been smiling if she was back at square one... alone and immortal. This is just one of the dozens of hints that Lulu is alive at the end.

no i disagree, lelouch is dead but r.r. is alive. yeah, i think its nunallys crane that lulu kept as a momento or something and is just having c.c. hold it or something, but yeah good point it could be that too :>, yes many hints and i have them all listed down in one of the many cg rnat jouranals i have. see sunrise listed him dead because he IS dead but he was reborn ar r.r. (or r2 hint hint the second season name) and yes i agree she wouldnt be smiling if he was dead because one, i think she cared for him more than she did any other of her contracteers i think she owuld be crying her eyes out, plus at the end when she was crying note that she thinks being immortal is a hellish thing so she feels bad for him.
